Birthdays and Holidays

At Yuma Pre-School, we encourage complete parent involvement. Throughout the year, the School Director schedules various events and activities in which parents are encouraged to attend. We understand scheduling doesn’t always permit participation in these events, which is why we welcome parents and guardians to drop-in anytime. We know it can take a village to best prepare a child for academic and personal success— we need your involvement and support to make this a reality.

Birthdays

We strive to make every Yuma Pre-School student feel special on a daily basis; however, on birthdays we welcome you to help us go the extra mile. Birthdays are extremely important to children and they love sharing them with their Yuma Pre-School friends. Although not required, we welcome and encourage parents to bring small treats for the class on their child’s birthday. The best options are mini cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, etc… We will join in on the fun and coordinate a specific time to celebrate your little one while singing happy birthday. In addition to our in-class-fun, your child will receive a personalized birthday postcard from our staff expressing how much they are loved.

Christmas Program

Our Christmas program is celebration and fun for the entire family! This program is typically scheduled the first Thursday of December (dependent upon theater availability). Confirmation dates will be released by November 15th annually. Please join us to watch your child’s artistic debut as they sing, dance, and share their love for this wonderful holiday.

Field Trips

Field trips are taken during our summer program for school-aged children only. These trips are planned in advance on a weekly basis. Field trip participation will require a permission slip to be signed in order for your child to attend.
